What a transaction costs and what bounds it.
How fees work
Fees are paid in the native denomination, with a gas limit and a fee amount on every transaction. A minimum gas price bounds spam.
When Custody signs for an organization, the deployment configures a maximum fee and a maximum gas, and a transaction above either is refused before it is signed. A signature is not a good place to discover a fat finger.
